Authoring Technician

Allied Vaughn is a leader in film and television title distribution, utilizing our unique Manufacturing On-Demand processes. Our customers are comprised of a who's who in film, television, and special interest video entertainment, like well-known major studios and independent studios. We are seeking a full-time Authoring Technician.
This is a full-time, hourly position, working 40 hours per week, typically during standard business hours, Monday through Friday. Some evening and weekend work may be needed. Due to the nature of this position and the agile culture with many of these assignments, you will be expected to have flexibility with your work schedule to accommodate client needs.
Description
• Authoring Blu Ray projects with Scenarist BD authoring software.
• Authoring DVD projects using DVD Studio Pro or Scenarist software.
• Creating menu graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Scenarist Designer
• Quality control and mastering Blu Ray and DVD projects ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Creating and managing all project documentation
Job Requirement
The ideal candidate must be proficient with the following software:
• Scenarist BD / Scenarist UHD
• Scenarist DVD
• Apple DVD Studio Pro
• Scenarist Designer PS 3.1.2
• Adobe Photoshop

Other desired software experience:
• Sirius Pixels SD, HD & UHD encoders
• Telestream MAC Caption
• Apple's compressor encoder
• Adobe Creative Suite - Adobe Media encoder
• Final Cut Pro
• DVD Studio Pro
