“We Care Too Much” is a new podcast series hosted by NYT bestselling author & TV creator Lisa Taddeo and writer/creative director Bevan Mahaney. Inspired by Lisa’s immersive research for her latest nonfiction book, WCTM focuses on the power and pain of the human experience and the role of empathy in our lives. As writers, mothers, and lifelong best friends, Lisa and Bevan have nuanced, intuitive, and always irreverent perspectives on culture and relationships. Tonally, the show lives in a similar space as the deadpan humor and unconventional social experiments of Nathan Fielder's work, though with a distinctively compassionate and feminist lens.

We are seeking a Social Media Intern to help launch this new project and amplify our online presence. This is a remote part-time position (10-15 hrs/wk) with the opportunity to grow with the project.

Responsibilities include:
• Develop a visual and tonal identity for WCTM across TikTok, Instagram, etc.
• Pitch and execute creative or unconventional "guerilla" marketing/content ideas that align with current trends and the brand's identity
• Edit and post short highlight clips
• Some graphic design work as needed
• Limited admin/organizational work as needed
