Part-Time Administrative Assistant, Film/TV Development
~25 hours per week / typically 10a-3p M-F, hours may differ as needed
Hybrid/on-site in Litchfield County, CT as needed (roughly 1-2 days on-site per week)
All Dogs Inn is the Film/TV development company helmed by #1 NYT bestselling author Lisa Taddeo. We develop IP and original stories for screens, including the series adaptation of the bestselling nonfiction book Three Women for Starz, the feature adaptation of the bestselling novel Animal for Plan B, and many other projects currently in development.
The Admin Assistant will report directly to the Creative Executive and will provide administrative and personal support to the two company founders/senior executives. This hybrid position will be largely remote, but it may require in-person work within ~3 hours of NYC (estimated 1-2 days per week but subject to change). Candidates with a car/ability to travel between NYC and Litchfield County, CT are preferred. This is a part-time position with the potential to transition to full time in the future, depending on the company's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support, including calendar management and scheduling, correspondence and document tracking, printing and distributing materials, phone calls, organizational help, note-taking, and transcriptions.
- Act as point of contact for blurb and press requests.
- Handle personal tasks, including appointment bookings and reservations, online purchases and food orders, prescription refills.
- Occasional errands and babysitting (in NYC and CT) as needed.
- Complete project-specific research tasks and reading assignments.
- Provide editorial feedback and assist with script coordinating, proofreading, and formatting.
- Assist CE with creative/development work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A passion for film/TV and literature and an interest in current industry/market trends.
- Proficiency with software including Final Draft, Google Apps, Microsoft Word, Zoom, (Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Pro and Frame.io a plus).
- High-level organizational skills, clear communication, and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of story structure and solid writing skills.
- Ability to travel between NYC and Litchfield County, CT is highly preferred. Access to a car is a plus.
- Relevant education and experience is a plus, but we are open to meeting highly qualified candidates who are still in college/recent grads.
