Publicity Assistant

This is a Full Time Job

align Public Relations is seeking an Assistant to senior level publicists with clients in film, television and lifestyle. Assistant must be good with high volume multi tasking and extremely organized as they will be handling multiple schedules, press clippings and press lists. in addition assistant will answer phones, service press clips daily and put together press kits for clients so word and powerpoint proficiency is a must. must be a team player, no task too small or too large.

Daily Duties include:
Client schedules which are updated multiple times a day
answering phones for the office
connecting calls for publicist and client interviews
booking glam artists
creating and maintaining press kits via PowerPoint
putting together pitch lists using Muck Rack
servicing press clips daily
being polite, helpful and kind to staff, press and clients no matter what pressure or deadlines you maybe under
problem solver not problem creator

Experience and Skills:
Experience working or as an intern with a studio or PR firm or record label
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proficient in Muck Rack, Cision, and other entertainment research based programs
Proficient in Power Point
strong organizational skills
on time and hard working is a must
