The Coordinator will support the Agents, Partners, and clients within our friendly, team-oriented, high-volume, Alternative and Factual Programming Department.

APA'S ALTERNATIVE AND FACTUAL PROGRAMMING DEPARTMENT
The AFP Department provides full service representation to top production companies, showrunners, directors and talent in all forms of unscripted entertainment across all major media platforms, and has a noteworthy track record of packaging award-winning and highly-rated factual television series.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
This role requires an individual who is honest, thoughtful, organized, detail-oriented, discreet, able to take initiative, able to trouble-shoot and problem-solve, learns quickly in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment, and able to anticipate the needs of the Department. Additionally, the Coordinator will need to be comfortable interacting with A-list clientele and can do so with professionalism and poise. The ideal Coordinator candidate also will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be an Excel, Word, Oasis, Outlook and Dropbox expert.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Departmental Support Duties
• Maintaining Cross Departmental Grids
• Managing Departmental Records and Databases (Oasis)
• Interfacing with A-list clientele
• Meeting Minutes
Client Payment Duties
• Accounts Payable- Process client payments for the Alternative and Factual Programming Department
• Accounts receivable - Commission collections; Generating Invoices
• Data entry - Maintain client information
• Prepare payment mailings and bank deposits
• Interact with clients and their representatives ensuring clear, correct communication regarding the status of payments
• General filing and clerical duties as needed
• Tracking and processing client bookings
• Interacting with production accounting to ensure timely and accurate payments to clients
SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 2 years of assistant or department coordination experience supporting executives or multiple managers within a department
• College degree from an accredited University or College
