The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an Assistant who is organized, able to take initiative, and one who can learn quickly in an ever-changing environment, all while being able to anticipate the needs of the Agents and the Commercial Department.
The ideal candidate has expertise in on-camera commercials, personal appearances and conventions.
Responsibilities & Duties
Supporting two Agents with:
- Rolling calls, submitting talent for commercials, pitching talent, emailing appointments, and coordinating travel, and creating itineraries
- Liaising with casting director, production companies and red-lining contracts
- Managing calendars, proactively addressing scheduling conflicts, setting and maintaining schedules of appointments and meetings
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner
- Keep the Agents well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience is important
- Experience in the entertainment industry is a must
- Knowledge of LA Casting, Casting Frontier and the personal appearance/convention space is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
