Fall Intern - Documentary Production

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Location: Remote (U.S. preferred)
Type: Part-Time Internship (10-20 hours/week)
Focus Areas: Film Production and Post-Production

We are seeking a Documentary Production Intern to support production, post-production, and development teams across several active projects - including films, television, podcasts, and more, all in different stages of production and development. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who wants to learn the ins-and-outs of every stage of independent production.

What You'll Do:
Production Support:
• Assist with maintaining an active calendar, including adding travel, meetings, pitches, and more for multiple projects.
• Organize and update internal databases
• Conduct research to assist with project development, and support production teams. This could include research into breaking news stories, as well as industry and general research
• Assist creation of promotional materials, sizzles, and project edits by conducting archive searches and pulling clips/images to use in post-production.

Edit Support:
• Prepare and organize recorded footage and audio to streamline the editing process.
• Create time-coded visual scripts of exports.
• Transcribe recorded interviews and edits to support the post-production process.
• Opportunity to assist with hands-on editing for digital platforms.

What You Bring:
• Experience with independent film production, or administrative support.
• Curiosity about documentary storytelling, true crime, and independent filmmaking
• Organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-moving creative environment
• Editing and/or graphic design experience strongly preferred
