AFTER HOURS PRODUCTIONS, led by acclaimed filmmaker Joshua Zeman (CROPSEY, Netflix's SONS OF SAM, MURDER MOUNTAIN, Amazon's THE KILLING SEASON, Hulu's THE LONELIEST WHALE, Tribeca 2024's CHECKPOINT ZOO), is seeking a highly organized and motivated Executive Assistant / Development Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical to the company's day-to-day operations, focusing on all aspects of creative production from initial story development to final distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Day-to-Day Calendar & Task Management: Managing scheduling, including meetings, calls, & deadlines, ensuring seamless time management.
• Project development: Developing potential documentary narrative projects from research phase through creation of development materials, which includes deck and sizzle creation. Participate in pitching process from start to finish.
• Production Support: Assist in producing sizzle shoots, with the potential to grow into larger production roles as the company expands.
• Distribution Coordination: Supporting distribution across numerous films, liaising with relevant partners and platforms to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Budget Creation: Assist in the creation and management of project budgets, maintaining financial organization and cost-efficiency.
• Intern Hiring & Management: Oversee the hiring process for interns and manage their daily tasks and performance.
• Meeting and Call Attendance: Attend meetings and calls with the producing team, taking notes and following up on action items.
• Social Media Coordination: Coordinate and manage social media profiles of our films to enhance online presence
Time Commitment:
20-30 hours per week, with the potential for an increase when our next project goes into production. Normal daytime hours, but can be adjusted for the applicant's respective timezone.
Qualifications:
• PREFERRED BUT NOT NECESSARY: 1-2 years of experience in an executive assistant role, ideally within an entertainment agency or production company (documentary experience a plus).
• NECESSARY: Previous internship in the entertainment industry.
• Knowledge of documentary work with/ emphasis on crime, horror, and social justice
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Keynote, or InDesign for deck creation. Some experience in Avid or Premiere is preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Drive, Slack, and phone-based communication tools.
• Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
• Budget management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the production process, with a willingness to assist on both small and large-scale projects.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
