Global Touring Director of Ticketing

Position Summary:
The Director Ticketing is responsible for overseeing ticket operations, ticket sales, tracking of ticket sales, and the management of show inventory for assigned tours. This position will assess, develop, implement and evaluate new policies and procedures to make ticketing processes more efficient. Additionally, the Director Ticketing will develop and maintain a rapport with the venue and ticketing contacts while monitoring sales, opens, and holds after on-sales. They will also collaborate with artist teams to develop and implement ticketing strategies including pricing strategies.
Essential Functions:
• Oversee ticketing operations for assigned tours, which includes working with venue Box Office personnel to build shows
• Review and approve events prior to tickets going on sale. Advise on ticket pricing and scaling.
• Monitor sales, opens and holds after on-sale and up until show day, including updated sold maps and provisions of audits as needed. Review expense reports and vacation requests for ticketing staff.
• Manage prices of tickets through event day in collaboration with internal revenue management team and artist team
• Oversee show build for Premium Ticketing department, if applicable, and prepare ticketing information sheet report and send to operations.
• Manage operation of various ticketing platforms and advise on troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 8 years of related work experience, including experience in the entertainment industry and previous management experience
• Experience in arena and/or stadium ticketing preferred; box office experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of AXS, Ticketmaster, and other ticketing platforms
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Professional
• Experience working in the music industry, specifically live entertainment
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
