Overview:

QC operators perform a range of quality control processes from spot QC to 100% mastering QC, on all types of AV content, using various tools and platforms. A top-tier QC operator is also knowledgeable enough to offer best solutions for rejectable issues.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

HDR UHD, DOLBY VISION, DOLBY ATMOS, LKFS/Loudness Specifications
Knowledge of playback equipment (Iris QC Pro, Clipster, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Arc Media Atlas, Elecard, VLC, Sony XDCam Viewer)
Working knowledge of file and tape formats: IMF, DCP, J2K, QT, MPEG-4, AVI, Pro Res, XDCAM, MPEG-2; HDCAM, HDCAM-SR, XDCam, D5, Digital Betacam
Skilled in operating audio/video monitors, scopes and meters.
Great attention to detail and use of proper terminology.
Ability to author QC workflows and train other QC operators.
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
