Actors Movement Studio Conservatory and New Vaudeville Theater, nationally acclaimed acting school in the Heart of the theater district, with over thirty years of training professional actors and conservatory trained actors, specializing in physical theater training, is seeking an Theater Development Intern who will share responsibility for management of daily operations and development.

Giles Foreman Centre for Acting USA, in collaboration with Giles Foreman Center for Acting in London
WORKSHOPS specializing in Yat Malmgren/Laban Movement Phycology developed at Drama Center London
Graduates include: Tom Hardy, Anthony Hopkins, Sean Connery, Colin Firth, Michael Fassbender, Paul Bettany, Anne Marie Duff, Geraldine James, Frances de la Tour, Tara Fitzgerald, Helen McCrory, Simon Callow, among many others.
INTERN DUTIES:
The Interns will assist the Directors with implementing Residential theater Company data tracking, scheduling of volunteers, marketing, website maintenance, and will help with logistical details such as general rehearsal room maintenance and maintaining front desk coverage.
Requirements:
Applicants must have strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and ArtSoft. Interns must also have excellent writing skills, the ability to multitask and the ability to work within a team environment as well as work independently on projects. Mail all application materials to Attn: Internship Coordinator include resume, a letter of interest.
Skills:
• Working knowledge of New York Theater Education and Schools
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
• Marketing and sales experience
• Ability to organize and manage studio rentals
• Copywriting and editing highly desirable
• Public outreach and speaking experience
• Exceptional organization and problem solving skills
• Excellent team building and staff management skills
• Hands on energy and enthusiasm
• Proactive and able to multi-task
