JOB DESCRIPTION
ACC is seeking an Account Executive to join the team, supporting product-driven comms and marketing comms for an iconic, high-end mass brand (beverage) with a variety of sports, music, CPG and lifestyle extensions/campaigns. Understanding the nuances of working with big brands, while simultaneously handling competing priorities with a variety of additional brands will be key to success in this role. The Account Executive will be responsible for understanding the communication needs of multi-sized business clients, designing solutions to meet those unique business needs, and ensuring stellar organization around key deliverables and outstanding items for various projects. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player, possessing low ego needs, with a passion for new business development and enjoys strategic planning.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participates in creative brainstorms/ideation and brings multiple creative insights and real time opportunities to clients
• Drives press results across consumer and trade press, ensuring quality placements
• Media monitoring and reporting across all clients
• Analyzes and measures placements based on approved client standards and requirements (key message pull through, feature vs round up, etc.)
• Consistently stays up to date with news trends - reads about other brands, shares ongoing updates with team and clients
• Develops talent, brand, news cycle audits
• Develops briefing books in prep for exec desk sides
• Manages interviews for talent, including messaging and staffing
• Handles social copy for talent
• Daily / weekly client comms
• IAT collaboration
PRINCIPAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Direct Supervisor: This role reports to the Account Director - Advisory
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill set:
• 3+ years public relations/marketing experience
• BA or BS Degree
• Outstanding communication skills, the ability to manage up, high level of confidentiality, strong follow through and attention to detail
• Social media savvy - experience with new and social media strategies and campaigns is a plus
• Extremely flexible, proactive, solutions-oriented, highly organized, able to shift priorities and multi-task, while working under strict deadlines
• Strategic thinker and problem solver, with the ability to generate creative solutions
• Experience working with celebrities and experts (interview management, media/messaging training) preferred
• Ability to handle heavy workflow processing in a small, collaborative, entrepreneurial team environment, with an innate desire to succeed
• PR material development experience (i.e. press releases, talent talking points, pitches, etc.) is a plus
• Passionate about providing exceptional customer service to internal and external partners and clients
• Ability to anticipate needs and execute time sensitive matters in a fast-paced, highly demanding, and high-volume environment
• Ability to be flexible with work hours, as business needs require
