Social Media Strategist

ABSTRACTION MEDIA is looking for an experienced social media expert to strategize and manage multiple social media accounts for our businesses, projects, and talent across many platforms. The right candidate must have knowledge of Youtube backend, evaluate the Tiktok and Instagram algorithms and implement strategies accordingly.

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase followings and drive engagement
• Work closely with editors to repurpose and create content and manage the posting calendar
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing
• Develop social strategy, process, and infrastructure for social media content operations
• Analyze social media data and insights to optimize performance and inform future strategies and present weekly reports
• Elevate and maximize reach for social media and content channels
• Manage and grow monetization and collaborations for a podcast and talent account

Qualifications:
• Must have proven work experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in social media/content creation preferred
• Your finger is on the pulse of viral trends and all things social media
• Well-versed in the analytics, algorithms and backend of various social media platforms, including Tiktok, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
• Experience with content management systems like Hootsuite or Later.com
• Proficiency in photography, video editing, and proofreading skills a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
