ABKCO is currently looking for a full-time Royalty Assistant. The ideal candidate should have a passion for learning all aspects of the music business. A bachelor's degree in music business, Business Administration, and/or Finance is preferred, along with at least one (1) year of related work experience.
If you are looking to gain experience in processing and analyzing record royalties and seeking a job in a fast-paced, medium-sized company, this position might be perfect for you. We are looking for a self-starter who can multitask and is willing to work overtime, especially toward the end of each semi-annual royalty statement cycle (January/February and July/August).
Job responsibilities:
• Gathering and organizing source documentation from various organizations
• Data entry and processing of record royalty statements
• Creating, maintaining, and reconciling Excel Spreadsheets
• Using analytical tools to evaluate monthly and quarterly royalty reporting
• Various administrative tasks
Skill Requirements
• Possess excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
• Must be proficient in Excel including Pivot tables, v-lookups
• Must be able to meet deadlines consistently and effectively while working under time constraints
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well with others and independently
• Ability to keep information highly confidential
• Tableau (a plus)
