This is a Part Time Paid Internship
DESCRIPTION:
ABKCO Music & Records, Inc. is seeking a part-time Accounting Intern who is interested in working for a fast-paced, medium-sized company and developing their accounting and finance skills while gaining exposure to the music industry. The ideal candidate would be a college junior or senior studying Accounting and/or Finance, with advanced Excel skills and general accounting experience. The position involves working closely with the CFO and the rest of the Finance team in all areas of accounting, bookkeeping, high volume of data entry, and digital filing.
Job Description
• Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Reconciliations
• Bank Reconciliations
• Processing purchase orders and invoices
• Assist in Period Closing processes
• Scanning and Digital Filing
Requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)
• NetSuite
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to keep information highly confidential
Office Hours:
Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Applicant must be able to support the team at least 24 hours during the business hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
