Job Summary:
ABC7 Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Producer – Content Development to help oversee the production of original content for the KABC multi-platforms including abc7, abc7.com, Localish and the entertainment brand ''On the Red Carpet''.
Responsibilities:
Candidates will produce and edit stories to the web and mobile platforms. We want self-sufficient story tellers who can create memorable content for our digital, social media and broadcast platforms. You must be able to take a story from concept to completion. You will be expected to produce various styles for various platforms.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates should have extensive experience producing content for both linear and digital platforms in the lifestyle and entertainment space. Live and streaming experience is a must. A strong understanding of social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube) is required. You must be able to research, set-up, shoot, edit, and write content on a daily basis. You must be willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate special events. Must have excellent leadership and communication skills that foster collaboration and innovation as well as the ability to recognize, create and communicate priorities and strategies as well as market opportunities and challenges to drive growth and performance improvement. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Adobe Premiere and/or Dalet One-Cut is a plus.
