ABC7 Los Angeles is looking for a Content Development Coordinator to support all of its brands and programs, including Eyewitness News, On the Red Carpet and Localish.
This person will create original and repurpose existing material for digital platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, as well as publishing to abc7.com, so a strong knowledge of writing and social media is a must. This person will be responsible for growing the use of the #1 local TV affiliate hashtag in the U.S., #abc7eyewitness, through engaging with its users and bestowing rewards. Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring, moderating and responding to audience comments, and manage social media partnerships with other brands. They will coordinate staffing for offsite meetups and events, including setup of promotional booths and video kiosks. They will also assist with content and promotional video shoots as needed.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work alone as well as in a team environment. You must be willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate events and offsite activations. A strong knowledge of writing and social media is a must.
Experience with Adobe Premiere and/or Dalet One-Cut is a plus.
