Job Summary:
The Sr. Manager, International Marketing Partnerships & Promotions role will be responsible for the strategic execution and growth of sales opportunities of all theatrical and Disney releases of film and episodic content for Global Promotional campaigns. You will have direct responsibility to ensure the overall success of the Studio by taking the lead as the day-to-day contact for growth strategy and global sales opportunities along with executing some of our biggest promotional deals on a Global level. Working directly with the Vice President, Global Marketing Partnerships & Promotions, you will provide insight to those strategies to ensure all elements are fully executed along with strategizing on developing new opportunities to enhance the promotional marketing campaign on a US and/or Global level.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the key point person for the International Markets for all promotional partner campaign needs across theatrical and Disney platforms
• Manage relationships with territory leads to ensure all partnerships meet global strategy
• Lead incremental sales opportunities and strategy discussions to grow existing and/or develop new and existing promotional partners on a global level
• Set global partnership kick offs to ensure all partnerships are maximized globally
• Work with local markets and Burbank teams (Marketing and Filmmakers) to create custom partnership campaigns: including but not limited to concept approval, creative development and approvals
• Oversee all promotion execution of multi-territory partnerships featuring more than one market or regions
• Review deal points and oversee contract administration to ensure a global purview
• Partner with internal teams (Sales, Creative, Digital, PR etc.) to provide strategic feedback and promotional growth opportunities to markets
• Review all promotional materials (TV/radio, print, POP, digital, social, music and talent rights) with partners and provides feedback
• Distributing pitching materials globally
• Work closely with Corporate Brand, Legal and Brand Leads on all execution elements
• Work across Disney divisions on key promotional growth opportunities
• Analyze past promotions and make recommendations based on trends and key learnings
• Accountable for increasingly complex campaigns
• Work with appropriate creative entities to provide assets for partner needs
• Work closely with our In-house Promotions Creative group to ensure creative excellence on global partner campaigns
• Manage P.A.S – a company-wide approval system
• Identify and present opportunities for participation with other Disney divisions (tied to the release being promoted)
• Maintain Partner Accounts and International Relationships
• Provide accounts with current information on upcoming releases for theatrical and Disney
• Strategize on key promotional opportunities that may arise based on thematic link between the property and partner's brand, appropriate target audience, and favorable timing between the release date of the property and the key selling period for the partner
• Acquire fundamental knowledge of partner's business category, products, their company, and its competition
Basic Qualifications:
• Four-year College Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or Related Field
• 5 Years' Experience in Marketing - Film, Entertainment, Streaming and Sales
• Preferable Disney Cross Line of business experience
• International Knowledge
• Strong Collaborator, Team Player, Multi- Task, and Drives Strong Results
• Innovation and Creative Marketer
• Strong Communication Skills and ability to interface with all levels of management
