Job Summary:
ABC News is seeking a SEGMENT PRODUCER to join the ''This Week with George Stephanopoulos'' team (Project Hire).
This is a Project position and employment will continue on this Project (at the company's sole discretion), and in no event shall extend past the completion of the Project.
Responsibilities:
This person will be primarily responsible for providing comprehensive research to help our anchors prepare for newsmaker interviews and further our mission of providing in-depth analysis to make sense of this moment in history.
Basic Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for politics and a deep knowledge of current events, public affairs and government. They should be inspired by the opportunity to play a role in writing the first draft of history. They should be excited about the breakneck pace at which news is unfolding, and relish the opportunity to be one step ahead of the competition at creating cutting edge content that resonates with audiences who are hungry for straightforward news and information.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
