Research Analyst, Project Hire (Walt Disney Television)
Job Summary:
ABC, a division of The Walt Disney Company, is looking for a qualified individual responsible for ratings and multiplatform insights and measurement.
This is a Project position and employment will continue on this Project (at the company's sole discretion), and in no event shall extend past the completion of the Project.
Responsibilities:
• Develop insights into the performance of content across all platforms (including linear, multiplatform and SVOD).
• Analyze the performance of ABC and DTS on a daily basis and collaborate with other research groups in order to report a full picture view of show, network, studio and landscape.
• Distribute core rating reports after thorough quality check process.
Basic Qualifications:
• A passion for all forms of content.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate ideas, stories, and data sets graphically and verbally.
• Flexibility, adapting to changing priorities and able to juggle multiple projects at once
• Can collaborate easily across teams, a self-starter with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiasm and curiosity for solving problems and answering challenging questions, while maintaining superior attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge and understanding of content and familiarity with media and television businesses, including digital platforms
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Nielsen software
• Tableau knowledge a plus
• Prior experience in linear or multiplatform research is preferred, along with related TV and/or digital fields
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
