Job Summary:
ABC NEWS WASHINGTON is hiring a PRODUCER/REPORTER - Pennsylvania Avenue Unit.
Responsibilities:
ABC News Washington is looking for a sharp, inquisitive Producer/Reporter to join our Pennsylvania Avenue team. Among the chief duties will be crafting, writing and producing scripts for ABC News correspondents covering the White House and Capitol Hill for ABC's Good Morning America.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a mix of skills including strong reporting, television news script writing, package producing and story writing. Candidates must have superior news judgment. Familiarity with ABC News platforms, an ability to communicate well with correspondents and senior editorial leaders, and experience turning quickly for various platforms are musts in this job. Flexibility in terms of hours and assignments is critical.
This producer will also serve as the first eyes and ears on the beat every morning for ABC's Pennsylvania Ave Unit and should be prepared to help guide and drive the editorial coverage on this fast-paced and demanding beat.
Required Education
• Bachelors degree from accredited college
