Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Marketing is a dynamic, results-driven marketing team responsible for positioning films released by Disney/20th Century (live action), Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, and now studio branded titles on Disney . This organization oversees the Studios' global marketing strategy encompassing creative, media, digital, international, promotions, publicity, research, special events, and synergy, and handles some the most valuable film brands and franchises of all time.
In this role, the Coordinator will be responsible in setting and distributing weekly deadlines to both Theatrical and Disney internal teams A/V Creative and Finishing teams, Creative Content, and Digital Marketing. Communicate effectively with follow up emails and/or phone calls. Will oversee creative asset deliverables and inform team when assets are available. Will handle and support assets in Disney Digital System (DDS), BOX, Riley, and other internal systems. Key point of contact in scheduling all Disney/20th media rotation meetings with Marketing executives (attendees include Marketing President, Strategy, Domestic/Int'l A/V Creative and Finishing teams, Research, Publicity, Digital and Media).
Responsibilities:
Serve as Coordinator for the department to provide:
• Oversees creative assets – download, catalogue, organize, prep for meetings, organize/file (the position will be the central hub for all assets)
• Handle and support weekly deadline delivery between media team and A/V creative/finishing teams
• Executes delivery of film title rotation documents to key executives and various marketing teams
• Coordinate for meetings including logistics, preparation, invitations, and materials for rotation meetings
• Calendar management (scheduling long-range and day-to-day meetings)
• Prepare, fulfill, and distribute summer/holiday packages to various stations twice a year
• Order supplies/materials and occasional invoice process using casual buyer job role in SAP
Supports department projects as needed
Basic Qualifications:
• Great organizational and follow-thru skills with the ability to work on many projects/film titles simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented, able to prioritize, and multi-task
• Comfortable working across both Mac and PC platforms and other systems
• Able to work maturely with a high level of confidentiality
• Reliable and team player
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous Disney experience preferred
