Job Summary:
Do you want to help transform video news and information businesses for the streaming world? The Revenue Partnerships Manager at ABC News will work with our ambitious, mission-oriented team of journalists, technologists, and business specialists growing Disney's news brands, including FiveThirtyEight, Good Morning America, and ABC News. We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable modeling out a new e-commerce opportunity for Good Morning America as they are cultivating relationships with potential content partners for ABC News Live.
Responsibilities:
• Identify new business opportunities in digital media and meet with business partners to evaluate those opportunities
• Draft and negotiate term sheets
• Develop quantitative models of potential deals
• Manage and prioritize legal deal queues and working closely with Disney legal teams on contracts
• Work with business partners to develop and monetize new programming/product concepts for all digital platforms
• Work with legal, product, editorial, sales, marketing, finance, and technology, teams to develop and manage digital products
• Develop and cultivate relationships with technology, platform, and content partners around the world
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum three years of results-oriented work experience in a business development, strategy, management consulting, or legal fields
• Demonstrated experience creating business models, forecasting plans, and other documentation utilized in evaluating business opportunities and investments
• Passion for digital media and the news business
• Comprehensive understanding of digital media, broadcast TV, and the news industry
• Proven ability to initiate and champion projects across divisions, and build strong relationships with cross-functional team members
• Success in creating and delivering senior-management level presentations
• Experience analyzing complex data and creating actionable recommendations
• Persuasive written and oral communicator
• Excellent in Excel, PowerPoint
• Skilled at structuring and negotiating complex agreements
• Creative problem solver with ability to combine ideas from multiple industries to online media
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience executing deals for major news media companies, wireless carriers, social media, or digital video platforms
• Thorough understanding of network television, studio, and digital content and licensing business
Required Education
• Bachelor degree from an accredited four-year college or university

MBA or JD
