Job Summary:
FX is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the President, FX Entertainment.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule meetings, answer phones, make travel arrangements and various other administrative tasks to support the President, FX Entertainment.
• Manage communication with external and internal clients, management, and teams reporting to the executive across all operational functions.
• Schedule and coordinate all aspects of executive's daily activities.
• Coordinate with and distribute materials pertaining to original programming with other FX and Disney departments.
• Assist in the creation and execution of presentations and projects made by leader.
• Evaluate material (scripts, rough cuts, outlines, and submissions).
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years' entertainment experience supporting a senior-level executive.
• Must be a self-starter and observant with a keen eye for detail; ability to prioritize, organize and establish administrative procedures.
• Works efficiently and accurately under pressure and deadlines to strategically manage the executive's schedule and help facilitate priorities.
• Handles strictly confidential information and interacts with high-level executives.
• Professional presence, good judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful and a problem solver.
• Must be able to keep pace in an environment with high volume and frequently changing priorities.
• Computer/tech proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Interest in expanding knowledge and growth in both the creative and business aspects of original programming.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Agency experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of entertainment and media business.
Required Education
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education
• MBA preferred
