Job Summary:
FX is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the President, Original Programming, FX Entertainment. The role will involve heavy scheduling, tracking and logging incoming material, and answering phones. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-volume atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule meetings, answer phones, make travel arrangements, and various other administrative tasks to support the President, Original Programming, FX Entertainment.
• Manage and evaluate incoming submissions of written and visual material and keep an accurate account of all materials that are submitted.
• Support the department and other executives as needed, which includes scheduling studio meetings, updating the department records for the shows currently in development or production, and researching various properties and/or arenas to potentially develop into series.
• Serve as the liaison to other departments for information on our series.
Basic Qualifications:
• 3 years previous work experience at a production company, studio, or network with a solid grasp of the entertainment business
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Must be highly organized, demonstrate attention to detail, and be able to multitask and handle a fast-paced and high-volume atmosphere
Required Education
• Undergraduate degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
