Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Strategy Coordinator works with the Digital Marketing & Social Media team to support and execute best in class digital media and marketing plans with a focus on driving tune in to ABC Network's Primetime shows and specials. The coordinator will work with digital marketing leads to carry out digital strategies across all platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and others. Responsibilities on these platforms include content sourcing and creation, reporting, scheduling, status updates, moderation, and other duties as assigned. The coordinator will also be responsible for assisting with paid social media campaigns in association with our strategy team and media agency. Candidate should be an organized multi-tasker who is passionate about television and social media.
Responsibilities:
• Supports show campaigns by watching shows, suggesting ideas, writing copy for social media posts, and scheduling those posts
• Brainstorming ideas for digital marketing executions
• Creating clips, gifs, and memes from show content
• Reading scripts weeks before an episode airs for ideas the social producers can capture
• Organizing digital marketing assets
• Execution of paid social campaigns, including trafficking deliverables and QAing content
• Analyzing social media data and keeping track of reporting metrics
• Stay abreast of industry trends, offer up ideas, and participate in brainstorm sessions
• Uploading social media assets for talent to share
• Securing social media handles for upcoming shows, updating passwords
• Ordering supplies for the team
• Coordinate meetings by securing conference rooms, requesting drive-on passes, and printing out materials
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years' experience working within studio/entertainment or internships
• Strong teamwork, prioritization, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and deadline-oriented
• Adept copywriter and editor
• Passionate about entertainment, TV, digital marketing, and social media
• Deep understanding of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms
• Photoshop experience is a plus
Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
