Job Summary:
ABC News is hiring a Co-Executive Producer for GMA3: Strahan, Sara & Keke.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include managing the daily editorial process and generating new ideas for future content for this daily afternoon network talk show. Candidates must be able to effectively manage segments, show production, and supervising senior and junior staff. Must have strong talent management skills and experience. Studio based producing and control room experience is required. The ideal candidate will offer creative and innovative ideas as well as have the ability to work under pressure. Understanding of digital platforms and social media preferred. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Should have an in-depth knowledge and passion for celebrities and pop culture, television and film, trending news, lifestyle, human interest, and executing studio and field-based talk segments. This position reports to the Executive Producer.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 year's experience in Television with senior management experience
• Extensive daytime syndicated or network talk producing with talent and staff management expertise
• Strong editorial judgment
• Studio-based producing and control room experience is required
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays
Required Education
• 4 years undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's Degree in TV/Film/Journalism or related field. Advanced Degree a plus.
