Job Summary:
ABC NEWS WASHINGTON is hiring a REPORTER/PRODUCER – Agencies.
Responsibilities:
The Reporter/Producer is responsible covering the vast agencies beat that can include everything from the USDA to HHS and from the Department of Energy to the Department of Homeland Security. We are looking for someone with extremely strong editorial skills with a history of developing and maintaining sources, knowledge and substantial interest in the governmental agencies and an established record of producing creative, exclusive stories and with strong writing skills.
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of three (3) years journalism experience in a news environment is required.
• Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, high pressure work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prefer candidate with extensive writing, reporting and producing experience.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree of equivalent work experience.
