The Voice Over Coordinator is a crucial position which requires an individual to work well within a team and be prepared for a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment. This individual is expected to show resourcefulness, exhibit accountability, and understand their role well enough to work independently and demonstrate initiative. Talent management, casting or agency experience strongly preferred and interest in becoming a talent agent is essential.
Responsibilities:
• Project manage and execute projects with talent
• Run point on smaller negotiations and proactive outreach
• Identify potential new talent and supporting existing talent
• Cover relevant agencies, entertainment studios and ad buyers
• Coordinate and execute deliverables
• Help develop strategies, proposal materials and deal structures based on business objectives and Talent's interest and goals
• Liaise with development coordinators at studios and production companies on upcoming projects
The Virtual Booth
o Schedule Virtual Booth Audition Zoom sessions. Review copy prior to session to estimate the length of time required per client so the sessions run efficiently, with minimal delay to clients
o Provide real-time feedback and direction during Virtual Booth Audition sessions
o Provide real-time tech troubleshooting during sessions, when needed
Audition Management
o Maintain database of auditions on Dropbox.
o Edit and remove any fixable inadequacies on all received MP3 auditions
o Actively submit auditions on the SelectVO and Voicecastinghub platforms
o Submit audition and/or reel links to individual producers and casting directors when requested
o Edit and maintain database of VO reels on Dropbox and the A3 VO website.
Home Studio Tech
o Recommend equipment necessary to create broadcast quality recording environments in clients' living spaces.
o Provide studio installation walkthroughs for hardware and Source Connect software.
o. Schedule, facilitate, and run-in house bookings via Source Connect
Qualifications:
• Must have 2-3 years of talent management, agency, production/casting experience
• Must be proficient in editing and recording software
• Experience and understanding of writers, directors and producers' landscape strongly preferred
• Strong passion for voice over especially in gaming, film and television
• Proven ability to develop and effectively manage strong working relationships with young, emerging talent
• Strategic and creative thinker able to align department with overall company business goals
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (both written and verbal), and presentation skills
• Must be proactive, resourceful and efficient
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
