Post Production Executive

A24 is seeking a Post Production Executive to support the team in an effort to create seamless finishing strategies that ensure creative goals are achieved and deadlines are met. This role will offer key strategic opportunities to streamline A24's post-production initiatives across a robust slate.

Initial Responsibilities

Strategize production and post-production plan for film projects to ensure optimal finishing at the highest quality
Evaluate scripts to estimate post-production costs and needs
Facilitate onboarding of production teams by managing unit photography delivery, dailies workflow and ShareFile document delivery portal
Disseminate best content sharing practices and policies, enforcing compliance for dailies and cuts
Work with film production teams to ensure post is properly staffed and help determine key vendors to accommodate creative vision
Review picture, sound and VFX bids to guarantee successful delivery within budget
Track and manage all post related costs
Review post calendars to communicate availability of materials for internal teams and troubleshoot changes to the schedule that may affect delivery
Vet main and end titles with legal team to ensure accuracy
Attend final mix playback sessions with filmmakers and approve final feature deliverables
Coordinate feature content for research screenings and premieres and attend tech checks to guarantee successful exhibition
Business Initiatives
Manage long-term archival strategies across the library
Oversee finishing of marketing and international promo and trailer assets that utilize dailies

Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years' experience within post production and delivery
Organized and extremely detailed oriented
Motivated self-starter skilled in multitasking and time management
Creative problem solver that thrives in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills
Familiar with high quality finishing vendors for picture, VFX and sound
Familiar with 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos workflow
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Premiere, Avid, Media Shuttle, Moxion a plus
