
Grassroots Outreach and Media Partnerships Manager

This role will oversee and support all elements of grassroots outreach and subsequent earned media on projects across the company supporting the efforts of our film & TV projects as well as select brand initiatives. This role will also be focused on opportunities to partner with brands, media outlets, content creators and their channels supporting the efforts of our film and TV projects.
This position can be based in our New York or Los Angeles office.
Initial Responsibilities
• Executing strategy for grassroots outreach for all projects to drive meaningful engagement, awareness, word-of-mouth, and earned media impact across multiple A24 projects.
• Overseeing specialty agencies on all titles
• Identifying and engaging with relevant creators for inclusion in press junket days and word-of-mouth screenings
• Managing brand partners, media outlets and partners and digital channels in support of screening plans and word-of-mouth activations
• Develop and execute methods to educate staff on the key themes of projects to better serve the production and distribution process
• Manage Grassroots marketing-specific talent and filmmaker communications
• Develop a long-term strategy for how to enhance A24's ever-expanding footprint in the Grassroots space
• Provide support to the Regional PR team on regional grassroots activations
• Continue to find ways to streamline, organize, and archive our grassroots efforts - create & maintain systems of organization (ie: Google Drive, Dropbox, emerging technologies).
• Manage the temporary Grassroots marketing coordinator
Qualifications
• 5 years relevant work experience, including in the entertainment industry, publicity, or impact marketing
• Results-oriented professional with ability to multi-task and manage multiple project-specific colleagues
• Creativity, resolve, flexibility and poise when engaging with difficult material and conversations
• An informed perspective about the worlds of film, art, music and culture and a pulse on current events and politics
• Enthusiasm for developing the audience of A24 projects
• Strong communications skills
• A flexible and adaptable schedule and a willingness to travel for work regularly
• Team-oriented. Humble, diligent and resourceful.
Salary/Benefits
$110,000 - $135,000 /year USD
Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training.
