Vice President, Lifetime Programming
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entire movie development process, including concept creation, script development, casting, and post-production.
• Manage production budgets and ensure quality control across all Lifetime and LMN films.
• Build and maintain relationships with writers, producers, directors, agents, and talent to attract high-quality projects.
• Identify new concepts and programming trends to expand audience engagement.
• Work closely with internal teams in casting, marketing, research, content sales, and distribution to maximize the impact of programming.
• Develop content that broadens demographic appeal and attracts advertisers.
• Maintain awareness of potential acquisitions and ensure synergy and quality control across all budget levels.
Requirements:
• Experience: 5+ years in movie or television programming, with at least 2 years at a Director level or higher.
• Industry Connections: Established relationships with producers, directors, and talent.
• Technical Skills: Experience analyzing production budgets, tax credits, and co-productions.
