Job Description
THE ROLE: SPECIALIST, GCS PROGRAMMING OPERATIONS
If you love content, are a proven master at synthesizing and organizing a volume of programming information, value process, are an innovator and troubleshooter, and most of all, enjoy working on a fast paced, well-coordinated team, this position may be for you.
As a member of A+E's dynamic Global Content Sales and International division, this position plays a critical role in ensuring the organization and licensing-readiness of the company's original program inventory – a catalogue of nearly 25,000 episodes of content and growing.
Aspects of this job include new program pipeline tracking, content curation and packaging, data ingest and optimization, process compliance, and programming information tools and systems.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Directly responsible for the organization and upkeep of A+E's original content inventory relevant to programming information and Global Content Sales' central library, licensing systems and tools (GPS, Propel, Product Builder, etc).
• Optimize programming information data and taxonomy to empower search and discoverability (includes curation of collections and bundles, etc)
• Track new pipeline (with content licensing rights) from all original A+E IP and acquisition sources, including A+E's US networks, Six West and Category 6 (A+E's unscripted studios), International channel partners, and the GCS Formats team. Includes rights renewed series, special and movies.
• In consultation with GCS Programming and Marketing, drive the quarterly curation of new program releases to the global channel and sales market.
• Support the ingest of activity information from key output client deals (eg catalogue uptakes / committed selects from International channel partners).
• Partner with A+E Technology, US Programming and Scheduling, Operations and Legal and Business Affairs to drive the flow and compliance of program and rights metadata into all of A+E's program information tools and systems (includes PPL, Airtable, Aspire/Fabric)
• In all responsibilities strive for workflow and project efficiency, information accuracy, and continual organizational refinement as business evolves.
YOUR STORY
• An individual with top notch organization, communication, and project management skills, and an ability to manage an ongoing volume of data and information (sometimes complex) in a fun, but deadline-oriented work environment.
• Attention to detail, ability to create and drive workflows is required.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in broadcast, cable, diginets, SVOD/AVOD/FAST or a content archive is a must.
• Experience with database systems
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented attitude and drive to innovate are key to this position.
• Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams proficiency required.
• Understanding of International program distribution and non-linear distribution are a plus.
• Candidates with archive / library science backgrounds are invited to apply.

CompensationHourly Pay Range: $29.58 - $36.58Annual Incentive Target: 5%
The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the
minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will
be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills,
