Job Description THE ROLE: Specialist, Emerging Platforms (Temporary) A E Networks has an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for entertainment and emerging media platforms. The Specialist, Platform Marketing will support the Platform Marketing team by coordinating the development and deployment of partner marketing materials for A E Networks upcoming FAST and Podcast launches. MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO: Specialist, Platform Marketing (Temporary): Coordinate development and deployment of partner marketing creative for FAST launches. Submit requests for development of creative deliverables Work closely with creative teams on requested deliverables Track incoming internal and external requests and strict deadlines by regularly updating detailed calendars and documents Communicate and coordinate schedules and creative updates and changes with key stakeholders Conduct quality control for creative deliverables to ensure assets meet partner specs and brand guidelines Update and maintain partner creative specifications and coordinate communication of any changes with key stakeholders Schedule podcast and FAST promos and other creative deliverables Assist in producing assets, copy and other marketing materials needed for Podcast editorial features Monitor partner EPGs to review creative in situation after launches and conduct competitive analyses. Gather and report findings. Support team initiatives as needed (i.e. copywriting, proofreading, gathering information for sales decks and briefs, scheduling meetings etc.) WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: All of the acronyms! But seriously, you will have a crash course in the FAST universe and beyond. You'll learn how marketing and creative is approached across platforms, how podcasts are launched and maintained, and the importance of unmuting yourself on video calls. You'll also hone your skills in PPT and writing and likely develop new ones as you master a variety of storage and project management tools. TEAM DESCRIPTION Spanning coast to coast, from NYC to LA, the Emerging Platforms Marketing team is at the forefront of growing media platforms that reflect the changing habits and preferences of consumers. From the exploding FAST Channel universe to podcasts to scripted television, we must be flexible, curious, and aware of the ever-changing TV and media landscape. If you have ever scrolled through Pluto TV or subscribed to podcasts ranging from true crime to political deep dives our small but mighty team is ready to bring you on board. YOUR STORY BA/BS in related field preferred Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks Strong time management and multi-tasking skills needed Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency with creative specs across social and/or media platforms Knowledge of entertainment landscape and multiplatform environment (FAST, AVOD, SVOD, DTO, DTC, PODCAST, etc.) Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required Experience using Photoshop/Illustrator, Box, Airtable, and Teams a plus Self-starter with initiative, follow-through, resourcefulness, and can-do attitude Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Compensation Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $38.00 The pay rate displayed serves as a good faith estimate for this role.
