Job Description
THE ROLE: Senior Manager, Post Production
The Senior Manager, Post Production will lead the post-production process for projects across multiple formats, ensuring delivery of high-quality content that meets creative and technical standards. This role will oversee post-production teams, workflows, schedules, budgets, and resources, while collaborating closely with creative, production, and technical teams to achieve project goals.

• Manage end-to-end post-production workflows, including editing, sound design, color grading, visual effects, and delivery.
• Supervise post-production teams, including editors, sound engineers, colorists, and VFX artists, ensuring alignment with creative vision and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain post-production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met while adhering to budget constraints.
• Collaborate with producers and directors to achieve creative objectives during the post-production phase.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of post-production tools and technologies to optimize workflows.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, legal requirements, and delivery specifications for various platforms.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and freelancers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical or workflow challenges, maintaining efficiency and quality.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in post-production management, preferably in a studio or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of post-production processes, software, and technologies (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Avid, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects with complex workflows and tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• Familiarity with technical specifications for various distribution platforms, including broadcast, streaming, and theatrical.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
• Advanced degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field.
• A passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the post-production process.
• Experience working across multiple formats, including documentary, scripted, and non-scripted content.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation in post-production workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and negotiate with vendors effectively.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in post-production, including AI-assisted editing and remote collaboration tools.
• Commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
CompensationAnnual Pay Range: $110,043 - $128,750Annual Incentive Target: 15.00%
The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the
minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will
be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills,
