THE ROLE: Senior Business Analyst – Enterprise Media Solutions
Lead a team responsible for technical, operational and project management support to deliver content to non-linear consumer platforms. Provide subject matter expertise in building and deploying workflows to prep, package and distribute digital programming assets used for new and existing service launches. Work with various business units (e.g. Digital Scheduling, Content Distribution Services, Production) to collect project requirements and translate them into actionable technical plans. Act as a liaison between customers and software development teams to log, prioritize and track feature requests for custom and commercial applications. Supervise User Acceptance Testing to ensure functional requirements are met. Support media orchestration systems (e.g. MPX/ThePlatform) and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Technical, Operational, Vendor) to optimize IP delivery workflows. Candidate will be part of the Enterprise Media Solutions team and based in Stamford, CT.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Perform Business Analysis:
• Collaborate with internal business teams to assess the feasibility of product/service launches based on technical, operational and financial requirements.
• Analyze business requirements, processes and workflows and provide suggestions for improvement. Identify opportunities where process, technology, systems development/enhancements can lead to increased efficiency and productivity.
• Provide proactive/reactive support related to the design, implementation and management of delivery workflows. Supervise operational support activities to increase end-user productivity while minimizing defects and outages.
• Work with management to drive product roadmaps including feature enhancements and workflow architecture.
• Improve data gathering and reporting capabilities to identify patterns, analyze trends and determine root causes of service impacting issues.
• Manage requirements-gathering activities through interviews, standups, workshops and existing systems documentation.
• Provide detailed analysis resulting in clear, concise and unambiguous system and workflow requirements.
• Document detailed use cases that cover all alternate/exception flows. Supplement use cases with real world scenarios.
• Ensure requirements are understood, agreed to and signed off at the appropriate stages in a project.
• Work with QA to develop and implement test plans, cases and schedules, based on intimate knowledge of system functions and workflows.
• Onboard and integrate third party vendors into A+E's end-to-end supply chain to globally distribute content to all consumer platforms.
• Understand the functions and processes supported by existing systems ecosystem, including technical/operational constraints of existing systems.
• Consistently maintain central repository of system, project and business signoff documentation.
• Work closely with Development teams to implement product enhancements and troubleshoot customer impacting issues.
• Stay abreast of new and emerging technologies to determine if/how they can be integrated into the EMS tech stack to support revenue-generating business initiatives.

YOUR STORY: [+BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of IT experience in a media organization or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) including Waterfall, RUP and Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Experience leading a cross-functional tech team.
• Familiarity with encoding, transcoding, automated QC and high-speed file acceleration technologies.
• Familiarity with technologies related to cloud (AWS, Azure), metadata (XML, JSON), Media Asset Management and Media Publishing solutions.
• Strong communication skills and customer focus.
• Collaborative team spirit with a willingness to share information transparently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
