THE ROLE: Senior Benefits Administrator
Under the direction of the Sr. Manager of Benefits, you will provide the day to day administration of the company's benefit plans by interacting with employees, external vendors and plan consultants.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Provide administrative support on company-wide benefits plans and programs, including Health & Welfare, Workers' Compensation, Retirement, Commuter programs, etc. for designated employee population.
• Assist Senior Manager of Benefits with benefits year end planning.
• Conduct benefit plans audit and reconciliation.
• Manage leaves of absence and related functions, including FMLA, State leaves, STD, and Salary Continuation
• Conduct annual Open Enrollment process. Monitor and audit plans participation and changes.
• Review and update monthly benefit plan billing as needed prior to submitting to A/P.
• Maintain benefits module of HRIS.
• Act as a liaison to payroll for benefits-related payroll functions
• Prepare and analyze census reports to consultants for plan valuation, audits, non-discrimination tests, RFPs, etc.
• Maintain ''Employee Benefits'' Information on the company Intranet
• Provide general counsel to employees (active and former) and retirees about benefit plans and programs as well as any work-related and/or personal issues, including referrals to the WLAP
• Conduct benefits portion of New Hire Orientation
• Generate adhoc reports as needed
• Assist HR department with activities and projects as needed

• BA/BS degree
• 2 yrs. HR Benefits experience
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office suite.
• Must have excellent documentation and communication skills to facilitate effective results with staff and benefits providers.
