A E Networks' Post Production Client Services Supervisors are the first points of contact for other A E departments and business partners requesting services within the post facility; capturing producers' needs and translating those needs into technical actions executed with available resources
• Administering and executing all aspects of media fulfillment; which includes, but is not limited to digitizing, encoding, transcoding and other processing of tape and file-based assets
• Receive, vet, assign, and reconcile fulfillment requests; with related workload management across facility (and external) resources
• Perform daily scheduling actions in support of internal and external post-production: addressing day-of technical crew call-outs & edit schedule adjustments; scheduling recurring and one-off voice over sessions (and coordinating session execution between talent, recording facilities, and/or producers), internal & external audio mix sessions and ancillary post services (color correction, etc.)
• Addressing open scheduling items, and incoming scheduling requests, related to technical personnel and other post-production support
• Facilitate media asset registration and trafficking in support of internal and external media fulfillment needs
• Generate and fulfill MediaPulse Media Orders, and liaise with departmental personnel and business partners
• Liaise with technical personnel to verify proper media fulfillment workflows
• Identify unique and unusual fulfillment requests, and review with appropriate technical personnel on best practices
• Proactively engage producers to gauge the scope of current and upcoming projects
• Maintain daily communication with all producers, via intra-facility rounds and email correspondence
Qualification Requirements General knowledge of Post Production editing and audio systems, and media/file formats
General knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook or a related email management system
Minimum 1-3 years television Post Production scheduling experience, or similar, in a fast-paced high-volume facility
Exemplary organizational skills and appreciation for workflows and process. Ability to maintain a professional and personable demeanor, especially under stressful circumstances, in all types of interactions (verbal, email, etc.). Ability to work in a team environment, but also make educated decisions autonomously
Desired:
Working knowledge of Post Production scheduling software, preferably Xytech MediaPulse
Availability for flexible hours, shifts Educational Requirements BA/BS in Communications or related field, or related vocational education
