THE ROLE: Production Manager (Temporary)
Production manage multiple long form non-scripted productions for Six West Media/Category 6.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Production Manager will assist VP of Production Management and Line Producers to negotiate crew rates, arrange for equipment packages and have an understanding of production insurance issues, location agreements, work with legal and corporate risk management. PM will create a production schedule and call sheets and communicate this information to the necessary parties. PM will order equipment, arrange meals, arrange crew and talent travel, and sometimes perform the functions of a location manager.
The PM reports daily the detailed production activity to the VP of Production Management and Line Producers so they can maximize creative goals for the production while staying within allocated budgets. PM will also interface with office services, HR and IT in the A+E Networks office to facilitate the on boarding of Six West/Cat 6 new hires.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

YOUR STORY:
Minimum 5 years' experience in Television as a Production Manager.
Skilled in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Airtable, Movie Magic, Smart Start and Smart Time.
Must be an excellent communicator and maintain communication between everyone on the production team. Can admit when he/she does not know the answer, but be resourceful and understand who to ask to get the information.
Can forecast and avoid potential problems and always have a plan B, C and D ready.
