The Role
Lifetime is looking for a project manager for the Marketing Production Operations department. The Production Manager is a strong leader who is skilled in the project management of video assets for On Air and Paid Media campaigns. Responsible for budget oversight, project planning, and managing timelines to bring about successful completion of projects.
More About what you'll do
• Lead production operations on all deliverables across Lifetime
• Oversee budget planning across Lifetime On Air & Print/Design
• Manage workloads of producers and vendors including balancing projects based on priority and timelines across all projects
• Partner with 360 Production team to ensure all projects are supported operationally
• Have strong knowledge of graphics/design/post-production
• Responsible for external creative vendor and agency projects & relationships
• Support creative directors and VP on Lifetime in long-term campaign planning and tracking, project oversight, and management of creative approvals
• Manage off-air paid campaign timelines and deliveries alongside consumer marketing
• Responsible for Airtable budget workflow including purchase requests and invoices
• Facilitate internal client requests and delivery of content for various departments
• Project manage delivery of assets for Fast Channels and Emerging Platforms as needed
• Responsible for Legal & S&P approval across all projects for Lifetime
• Help structure and improve workflow for creative production teams for maximum efficiency and clarity
• Provide production support on new business initiatives as needed
• Collaborate with Production Services team to improve production operations processes
• Train new producers, coordinators, PA's on workflow and software
• Oversee coordinator and tagging producer
• Manage music and footage licensing
• Oversee utilization and scheduling of producers in edit rooms
Preferred Qualifications
• Candidate should be extremely detail-oriented and be able to multitask/handle many projects at once in a team-oriented environment
• 4+ years in Project Management in TV or Advertising
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
• Must be able to work independently and under pressure
• Exceptional proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong knowledge of video codecs, file formats and their workflows in relation to post-production
• Familiarity with Airtable a plus
• Video editing experience with Adobe Premiere and/or Avid a plus
