THE ROLE: Production Coordinator, Studio
A+E Networks has an amazing coordinator opportunity in Los Angeles providing support to the Studio Production Department.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Production Coordinator, Studio:
• Oversee day to day management of various projects in development, prep, production, and post
• Set up, schedule, and coordinate initial kickoff and ongoing production meetings
• Assist with identification and curation of experienced, high-quality production crew
• Research and set up writer, casting, production and post-production facilities
• Onboard production and post coordinators for Studio policies and procedures
• Update and maintain department manuals
• Administer Scenechronize and PIX
• Facilitate information flow between internal department and external groups
• Review and analyze daily production documents
• Draft preliminary production and post-production schedules
• Research potential film locations and local tax incentives
• File and track various guild and union paperwork
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors
• Post-production schedule and deadlines management
• ATL travel management
• Provide administrative assistance to Production Executive and department as needed with phones, filing, scheduling meetings, etc.
• Special projects and other tasks as needed
YOUR STORY:
• BA/BS Degree
• 1- year administrative experience (internship experience applies)
• A positive and upbeat demeanor
• Set production experience
• Creative problem solver
• Knowledge of Scenechronize a plus
• Strong time management and multitasking skills needed and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Detailed-oriented and extremely organized
• Must have the ability to work independently, efficiently and be able to meet deadlines under strict time constraints
• Knowledge or experience in development, production, script reading and coverage a plus
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Maintain awareness of competitive set
• Must be able to handle confidential information
