Job Description
THE ROLE: Production Accountant – 2nd Assistant
The Production Accountant – 2nd Assistant will be responsible for accurate financial tracking and accounting of Six West and Category Six Media unscripted productions and development projects. This role will have an emphasis on invoice management, labor costs and payroll, and general ledger activity. This is a key AP function in a team of a rapidly growing division of A+E Networks.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Act as key liaison between Six West / Category 6 Production Management and all other clients regarding expense transitions.
• Process Atrium invoices and coordinate labor costs on a weekly basis.
• Oversee all non-labor AP Invoices.
• Prepare general ledger entries for all series and development productions in process.
• Maintain invoice log of all expense transactions made to outside vendors.
• Remit all cash payments to 3rd party vendors via online banking platform.
• Lead best-practice document management and retention.
• Support other team members via cross-training and act as backup when called upon.
• Weekly Check Register postings
• Maintain and Update Funding and PAC log

YOUR STORY:
• 2-5 Years of Production Accounting Experience
• Experience with fast-paced production environment
• Experience with accounts payable, payroll and standard production labor partners (i.e. Entertainment Partners)
• Experience with Smart Start, Smart Accounting and Air table
• Excellent general ledger management and reconciliation skills
• Can work well in a group of other accountants
• Excellent communication skills
CompensationHourly Pay Range: $25.96 - $34.62Annual Incentive Target: 5%
The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the
minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will
be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills,
