THE ROLE: PR Coordinator, A&E
The PR Coordinator will provide support to the A&E Publicity team and will have several key operational and administrative responsibilities.

PR Coordinator, A&E
• Provide general support in the development and execution of all PR campaigns including competitive research, generating outreach lists and pitch ideas, cutting press clips, etc.
• Monitor, compile and distribute daily press coverage, keep team apprised of all breaking news and monitor news and social media for all network and series related coverage.
• Coordinate talent travel and itineraries for press appearances, events, TCA panels, Upfront events, etc.
• Serve as asset manager overseeing and maintaining all press assets including photography, synopses, episodes, scene pulls, press releases
• Coordinate and maintain press website and all network and series assets for A&E.
• Create, maintain and update press contact database.
• Assist the Awards Team with award submissions and track nominations/wins for the network
• Support department with daily media requests and act as network source of information on programs.
• Assist with planning and execution of network/corporate events and panels.
• Track key competitive trends in the media and entertainment landscape
• Work across multiple departments to gather and disseminate information and requests
YOUR STORY:
• Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelors degree
• Minimum 1-2-year experience in publicity / communications, ideally in television communications
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
• Ability to work under tight deadlines across multiple projects
• Demonstrated experience in problem solving and managing high-level critical situations
• Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail is must
• Impeccable writing and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to work well on a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
• Able to adapt quickly to new and challenging situations
• Ability to pick up projects with little notice and assist team members as needed
• General understanding of social media integrations
• It is essential that this person can handle a wide range of duties and exhibits personal initiative, organization and maturity.
• Must be able to handle a large volume of tasks and prioritize accurately and quickly
