THE ROLE: Partner Services Specialist
Reporting to the Partner Services Manager, this position is a key player in the Content Distribution Services team based in Stamford, CT. This role is responsible for supporting the Partner Services manager in establishing, maintaining and enhancing the relationship between the Content Distribution Services team and its various distribution partners and vendors.
In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating new partner on-boarding, managing partner change requests and be a point of contact for partner publish error resolution. You will also provide project management support for all partner and/or vendor projects.
You will support the effort to gather requirements by collaborating with the Content Distribution Services management team to trouble shoot requirements and be a valued teammate within a highly talented and motivated Content Distribution Services team.
The Content Distribution Services team sits within the Content Services & Operations division at A+E Networks. We provide distribution services including metadata management and curation, dynamic ad-insertion, encoding and media preparation, quality control, content packaging and high-speed delivery of A+E Networks' programming across global platforms including but not limited to: Video-on-Demand, TV Everywhere, Download-To-Own, SVOD, OTT, AVOD, International Programs Sales/Channel Partners and our own Brand Sites and cross-platforms apps and devices. This role will help maintain a ''best-in-class'' high quality standard for our digital distribution operation.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Support the Partner Services Manager in creating meeting agendas, taking notes and following up on identified action items, as well as regulary updating shared team project trackers in applications such as Smartsheets, Sharepoint and/or Air Table.
• Responsible for the creation and management of a partner database, which will include technical specifications, internal package requirements and appropriate contacts.
• Serve as an interdepartmental liaison for distribution operations, digital scheduling, acquisitions, formatting, international operations and localization teams, in service of new partner onboarding's, spot deal management and partner and/or vendor project support.
• Serve as an escalation point of contact for partner publish error resolution.
• Collaborate with CDS management team to troubleshoot requirements.
• Facilitate requests from internal partners, as well as external partners and/or vendors.
• Responsible for facilitating all required project tracking and/or reporting as required.

YOUR STORY:
• College Degree Preferred, (Communications)
• 2-3 years of client services, account management, production studio, media supply chain and/or digital distribution experience.
• Excellent client services skills. Friendly can-do attitude, ability to stay calm under pressure and strong relationship builder.
• Extensive knowledge of digital media formats and platforms.
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills. Must interact effectively with distribution partners and management across all levels of the organization.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multi-task and time management skills in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
• Comfortable approaching new technologies and workflows.
• Flexible and adaptable with an appetite for implementing positive change, keen problem-solving abilities.
