Work Locations: With the exception of some select roles that have in-office requirements, A+E Networks operates on a flexible model that allows for remote, hybrid or full time in office work (in certain locales).
Office locations include New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Stamford, CT.

Job Description
Paralegal, Technology, Legal & Business Affairs
Provide contract support, document management, and administrative assistance to A+E Legal & Business Affairs (L&BA) attorneys in the areas of technology, privacy, ad sales, research, and general vendor management.

Contract Drafting and Document Management:
• Review, revise, draft, and negotiate various contracts (e.g., vendor master services agreements (MSAs), statements of work (SOWs), and order forms) and other related documents (e.g., termination letters), including those related to technology and office services.
• Manage the contract lifecycle for a broad range of contracts handled by attorneys supporting numerous A+E Networks divisions, including preparation of execution versions, review and adjustment of signature routing, overall management of the execution process via DocuSign, and organization and archiving of all contracts and related documents across eDocs and Box repositories.
• Research and respond to questions from business stakeholders related to contracts, including providing copies of existing contracts, and reviewing them to answer questions related to issues such as start/end dates, termination rights, and autorenewal.
• Assist with creation of contract templates, and with all manner of contract workflow automations, including via Airtable automations for contract intake, revision, and execution.
Administrative Support:
• Provide timely support for other administrative tasks and projects across the L&BA team, on an as-needed basis, including those involving advanced skills with various Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

YOUR STORY: [+BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)
• Must have one of the following: a Bachelor's degree, degree in paralegal studies, paralegal certificate, or other ABA-approved paralegal training. A law degree and/or advanced degree(s) is a plus.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of paralegal experience at an in-house legal department (preferably within the media or entertainment space), or at a law firm, working with contracts (not litigation).
• Strong contract drafting and review/interpretation skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong business judgment, with the ability to identify problems and recommend solutions, as well as awareness of when to escalate issues.
• Ability to take initiative, to learn and apply new information, skills, and procedures, and to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Must be a team player who can interact with all levels of management, across departments, and with outside counsel.
• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Word, and proficiency in common legal support systems, including Adobe Acrobat, Workshare Compare, eDocs and Box (or similar document storage platforms), DocuSign (or similar e-signature platforms); proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Airtable is a plus.
• Notary public license is a plus.
• Experience with a range of technology and/or office services vendors is a plus.
CompensationHourly Pay Range: $37.05 - $42.60Annual Incentive Target: 5%
The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the
minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will
be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills,
