Division Story Production Operations and Engineering consists of a wide range of media centric roles. We are responsible for managing the entire life cycle of A E's programming. Job Description THE ROLE: Motion Graphics Artist The Motion Graphics Artist is responsible for the creation and execution of graphics assets for the A E Networks properties. The position will carry out the day-to-day production of brand specific content from receipt of design direction, animation, client approval, to QC and final asset delivery for broadcast and other platforms. The ideal candidate will possess superior executional skills as well as industry leading technical knowledge required to carry out the creative vision of our marketing partners and stakeholders. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of creative workflows, the ability to comprehend complex creative direction, and the ability to perform at a high level. Acute communication skills, precise attention to detail is a must. Ultimately, this role contributes to the company's success by producing top-level creative content, maximum efficiency, and productivity for the A E Networks Group. MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO: Execute design projects with full deadline responsibility from receipt to finished production of content. Creatively bring concepts and designs to life with a keen eye for animation, composition and pacing. Collaborate with Graphics Producers and Coordinators to maintain efficient, uninterrupted workflows. Understand project time and resource requirements on project inception to ensure successful completion. Collaborate with the Marketing Design Team to ensure consistent look and branding. Understand client needs for assignments and execute deliverables to brand and style specifications. Maintain overall efficiency of the department by troubleshooting problems and maintaining technical standards. Stay abreast of emerging industry standards, adopting best practices and technologies whenever possible. Gain full proficiency in A E proprietary systems & databases, utilizing them when needed. Troubleshoot technical issues ensuring accurate deliverables and correct output specifications. Maintain a client facing demeanor and positive can-do attitude at all times. Collaborate with clients to ensure they receive the highest level of service and satisfaction. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: You'll have the opportunity to innovate and learn as part of the Production Operations Graphics Team. You will have exposure to all the inner workings of what it takes to get our content from concept to our viewers. You will assist in providing solutions for challenges both creatively and logisti cally to help stream line internal and external workflows and communications. Desire to proactively gain technical and institutional knowledge Able to work independently and efficiently, and knowing when to ask for help MORE ABOUT YOU: Minimum 5 years experience in Motion Design or related field Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal Industry experience in creating graphics for broadcast Fluent in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder Knowledge of Maxon Cinema 4D and compositing in 3D space Proficient in a wide variety of industry standard 3rd party software and plugins Experience building and using toolkits for versioning work Must possess a strong work ethic, and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency Basic knowledge of corporate applications for communication: Outlook, Teams, G-Suite Compensation Hourly Pay Range: $52.92 - $67.79 Annual Incentive Target: 5% The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience.
