Job Description
ROLE | Motion Graphic Artist (Temporary)
A+E Production Operations is seeking additional freelance artists to join our motion graphics team. The freelance position typically includes executing versioning requests, creating custom creative content, and completing QC requests, in a fast-paced environment for Broadcast and other platforms.
Schedule may vary, 8.30 - 5P, 10 – 6:30P, preferences will be considered
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Develop and execute compelling creative work from concept to final deliverables
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams actively engaging in kickoff meetings and other relevant discussions
• Communicate in a clear, concise and effective manner with team and partners
• Effectively manage multiple assignments and consistently meet all deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide creative and technical solutions
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance with established workflows
YOUR STORY:
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a motion designer in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of Broadcast design and cross-platform requirements
• Understand the dynamics between print, edit and other creative functions
• Demonstrate proficiency in maintaining project organization and implementing quality control measures
• Capable of functioning autonomously with minimal supervision
• Have a keen eye for typography, layout and composition
• Experience building and using toolkits for versioning work
• Possess strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and other creative tools
• Basic knowledge of corporate applications for communication: Outlook, Teams, G-Suite
Bonus Skills:
• Experience with C4D, and 3D motion design techniques
• Advanced VFX/Compositing knowledge
• Comfortable with After Effects Expressions & Mogrts
Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.
Compensation
Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $75.00
