Job Description THE ROLE: Manager, Programming Systems Direct and oversee the work of employees, vendors, and consulting personnel. Oversee the support and enhancement of current programming systems. Help to lead a high performing team, foster open communication, transparency, highest level of integrity, trust, and collaboration within and across the department. Detailed resource planning, allocation & forecasting. Ensure consistent processes for support & development. Provide analysis of business requirements, processes, and workflows – looking for areas of improvement. Identify areas where technology, the development of new systems or enhancements can lead to increased efficiency and productivity. Understand the functions and processes provided by the current systems. Understand and accommodate the requirement constraints imposed by the current systems. Understand how data is stored and structured in the systems. Ensure that programs, initiatives, and project tasks are delivered on-time. Manage risk appropriately and plan proactive mitigation. Manage the lifecycle of applications by ensuring applications are maintained relative to the latest technologies available. Stay up-to-date and investigate new technologies that can be used for POCs or in existing applications. MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO: You would be responsible for managing and maintaining applications developed in-house for programming systems. The responsibility would include management of code review, code quality, release management and integrations. You would be working with functional teams brainstorming business requirements, coming up with technical design and recommendations. You will also play critical role to do POC, development of next generation programming system upgrades. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: On our team, you'll have the opportunity to innovate and learn. YOUR STORY: [ BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have) Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and/or relevant job experience. 10 or more years of Application Development, with expert experience in .Net Microsoft software frameworks, including Web API for building RESTful applications. Hands-on experience with web development using Angular (preferred) or React. Strong current technical development skills in .Net, with ability to mentor/guide development team members. Strong understanding of the entire CI/CD framework – from Code Versioning all the way up to Testing and Deployment Solid experience of integration within AWS Cloud Platform. Curiosity – constantly looking for new technologies or solutions on the marketplace that innovate how we do things and provide new value to our business. Desire to make things better and get it done, whatever it may take. Ability to manage projects and people, as well as the ability to influence and manage relationships where no direct line of report exists. Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect/Developer certificate. Compensation Annual Pay Range: $133,320 - $169,280 Annual Incentive Target: 12.50% The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience.
