Production Operations and Engineering consists of a wide range of media centric roles. We are responsible for managing the entire life cycle of A E's programming. This is where we produce, transform, broadcast and distribute content as well as run the tech infrastructure for the Media Supply chain. THE ROLE: Manager, Partner Services
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Partner Services, this position is a key player in the Global Operations & Partner Services team. You'll oversee partner service requests and delivery timelines for domestic and international partners which include Video-on-Demand, TV Everywhere, Download-To-Own, SVOD, OTT, AVOD, International Program Sales and Channel Partners, and our own Brand Sites and cross-platform apps.
This individual acts as a broker and negotiator between multiple internal and external parties including programming, sales, legal, clients, vendors, and internal fulfillment teams – and will coordinate a variety of services including metadata, dynamic ad-insertion, encoding and media preparation, quality control, content packaging and high-speed delivery of A+E Networks' programming across global platforms.
You'll take the initiative to drive new projects to streamline distribution processes. As the front face for our team, you'll help to maintain an exceptional customer service experience for our global partners.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Manage day-to-day workflow processes, requirements gathering, and information flow for all matters related to deal fulfillment and distribution, which includes:
• All partner communication related to onboarding and delivery requirements, content availability dates, quality control, media packaging and high-speed delivery of A+E Networks' programming across global platforms.
• Partnering with sales and legal during the deal negotiation process to provide guidance on requirements, material costs, program availability, and delivery timelines.
• Tracking priority program requests, working with internal teams to keep new program assets moving quickly through the internal pipeline.
• Identify areas for strategic process or system improvements with an eye towards enhancing efficiency.
• Manage assigned budget lines, identifying needs, trends and cost implications, to make recommendations for budget efficiency.
• Supervise, train and mentor five Partner Services Specialists to their highest potential, instilling the highest customer service values and demeanor in all members of the team. Continually re-assess team roles and responsibilities to best support a globalized organization.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

YOUR STORY:
• BA or BS in Media, Communications or related field preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in client services or account management, production services, media supply chain and/or digital distribution.
• Knowledge of digital media platforms, global technical standards, or encoding and post-production processes a plus.
• High level of diplomacy and excellent client service skills in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. Values diversity and interaction with partners from different cultures and global territories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must interact effectively and collaboratively with distribution partners and management across all levels of the organization
