THE ROLE: Manager, International Digital Distribution
The Manager, International Digital Distribution is responsible for exploring international TV Everywhere and Video on Demand opportunities, as well as executing implementation plans to expand A E's digital footprint. The Associate Manager will report directly to the Vice President, Strategy & International Business Development.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Support VP and management in developing and formulating digital business strategies to drive incremental profitability for the international division
• Partner with US based digital teams to develop content strategies, implement operational processes and grow global partnerships across SVOD, AVOD and EST platforms
• Create and manage rights maps for international content availability to identify optimal regions to launch digital product offerings
• Research and assess potential partners to collaborate with on product launches and/or digital distribution
• Manage product launches including development of content strategy, assessing rights, and facilitating fulfillment of content
• Produce regular performance analysis reports for internal stakeholders
• Coordinate with US based digital production teams to expand distribution of short form video and social content availability to global markets
• Evaluate ad-hoc digital questions relating to international strategy, and produce reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings
• Maintain internal and external relationships and provide excellent support relating to digital operations and product management
• Manage short form content licensing to channel partner and third-party clients
YOUR STORY: [ BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)
• 2-5 years of experience in the media/entertainment businesses and digital environments
• Detail oriented critical thinker with a self-starter, positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to work well with a variety of partners and diverse stakeholders
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• BS/BA in media, business and/or related field
• Familiarity with working in or with large organizations (preferred)
• Experience with financial models, business plans, contracts, and management presentation (preferred)
